My whole body relaxes and settles into a rhythm when the hotness and hell of summer finally abates. But not so much the other two at least in SLC. It got too cold. And by the time January hit I was ready to die. So I am looking forward to winter for the first time in my life. See Wizzers being a CA girl. I feel just the opposite- I had 70 degree winters all my life and I totally dig having “real” winter now. Granted. Northwest winters are not MIDwest winters- we’re lucky (or unlucky however you look at it) to get even 6″ of snow… just enough to be pretty not too much to be livable. I wish your first AZ pass is just what you need. By the way. I undergo another friend who lives in AZ (Hi G!) and from what I understand winter is when everyone comes out and does stuff because it’s suddenly not TOO hot anymore.

So here I am on the eve of Labor Day and I just had a great b-b-q with my neighbors.
