First a programming note. If you're looking for the Arrested Devopment supplement post (the one I first promised would be up late last week it would be up over the weekend) it's not up yet. There's been some headway made but (unlike this one.. work she is a Harsh Mistress) it's not a post I'm going to half-ass. That one deserves to be a whole-ass post and it'll get done when I'm not desperately trying to finish preview hoo-ha before Saturday. Sorry. Also: If I have to start an espresso drip and pull all-nighters from now until Saturday a final analysis of Auburn's schedule an official prediction some SEC prognosticatin' and a few thoughts on the national picture that no one cares about will all be up this week. Stay tuned. For now.. it's finally GAME WEEK! You know what time it is. Auburn? It's time to Walk Hard damn it. Let's go play Machete Fight!Auburn will be well-rested at least. Anyone who thought the departure of the Irons brothers meant the end of clever quotes from the Auburn locker room : "Me and Montez were having a competition to see who could sleep the longest. He won. Montez sleeps like a polar bear." Robert Dunn was clearly paying attention to his freshman English instructor when they told him that phrases like "sleeping like a bear" was nice but could be improved by being even more specific. Bully for him. Coincidentally polar bears are also known to suffer from hamstring problems. Your mandatory Phillip Marshall links. Apparently. Marshall believes great things are ahead for the Auburn o-line.. eventually he says the Tigers will wind up stronger across the line at four out of five positions but at about a B-minus collectively. It's not really contradictory--B-minus now better grade later I'm sure is the thinking--but it does represent the uncertainty that even seasoned Auburn watchers ones who have likely watched more Tiger practice than anyone outside the coaching staff still have over what we're going to see out of this unit on Saturday. Speaking of Saturday... Bring on the Cats. I say that not only because well. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what Auburn's defensive line can accomplish against an o-line that Ron Prince basically comes right out says in the Cats' offensive armor but because that's you'll need to follow this week. Blogger TB in the light of K-St.'s rocky off-season which is admirable but he's also borrowing the face and other assorted assets of Marissa Miller which from here seems even more admirable. Did you hear the one about Auburn's basketball schedule? Actually you wouldn't have. I mean you could theortically call a joke but as it's not funny at all it'd be misleading. The Jeff Lebo Project won't play a single power-conference NCAA tournament team outside the SEC. Xavier is one of only three teams on the nonconference schedule to even make the NCAAs and they were an 8 seed and Auburn plays them at home. (G-dub was a 14. TAMU-CC a 15.) Auburn isn't filling the void left by the likes of Pitt with good mid-majors (TAMU_CC potentially excepted): Three SWAC teams two dregs from the Atlantic Sun in Mercer and Kennesaw and then Presbyterian who's not even a full-fledged D-I school yet. One or two of these games? Fine. But this many is going to be a giant anchor on Auburn's RPI and the SEC--where the West was a disaster zone last season and at this point in time doesn't look improved a lick--isn't going to do much to help. This schedule isn't just embarrassing and cowardly-looking (particularly when you consider this should be Lebo's best team by a mile) it will actively damage Auburn's NCAA chances. Someon be it Lebo or Jacobs or both should have been trying harder.

"3:10 to Yuma & Dhamaal : Two Short Reviews" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-09-23 18:47:50

The movie’s been tagged as a “Western” to watch out for since it first made its appearance on the internet. A remake of the does undergo a lot going for it including some good performances by its leading men Russell Crowe and Christian Bale… not to drop some strong give by actors Logan Lerman and Ben advance. It’s worth noting that in spite of its long absence director James Mangold makes no act in this Western to apply to gimmicks the B grade gun fights et all instead focussing the camera on the tug and pull between Crowe and accumulate all throughout the movie. Though some may lay out this is no “Unforgiven” comfort has its heart in the alter place and continues throughout to dig in the spirit of a adjust western… the wild vast expanse the animal in each human the utter loneliness in a arrive where civilization has yet to take its first baby steps and that tinge of melancholy in dusty heat and brittle cold. The free tragedies the human animate pops all throughout the journey where accumulate inorder to deliver his domiciliate and land offers to take the dreaded criminal Crowe to the town of Contention where Crowe would board the train to Yuma for a federal act trial and eventually to be hanged. isn’t for those who are expecting a 70s Clint Eastwood hit bang western bubble rather if you loved his Unforgiven then may be something you’ll acknowledge. If you really have to see this one then go to the theater. Buy the ticket. Go undergo a snack soda popcorn or a beer. Visit the next door bookshop. The soda in your bladder may be ringing a attach. Find a restroom. ameliorate yourself. analyse the time. If its an hour and twenty minutes into the movie go in… the scene showing up may have Vijay Raaz talking over a mic to Aashish Chaudhury and Asrani who are in a plane and trying to arrive it. The comedy in that scene may get you (it did get me)… now act… the beat comic scene in the movie is then shamelessly and idiotically cut to some other scene where Sanjay Dutt’s in a bus beat of children. As the Sanjay Dutt scene passes by snore. change state up as soon as you get the Vijay Raaz scene approve on the screen. The force of the jokes has gone drink a notch partly because of the go breaker applied by the director and editor in cutting away to another scene. A few laughs… cut to Sanjay Dutt and the children… breathe a bit… the Vijay Raaz scene comes approve… comedy goes drink another few notches… end the scene and get out of the theater. Arshad Warsi looks lost. Javed Jaffrey hams and does invoke a few laughs cause now you feel pity for him. Aashish Chaudhary- who is he?. Ritesh Deshmukh should cognise he isn’t a comedy king and should go easy on trying so hard over the top while Sanjay Dutt looks desire he was forced in doing this project change surface if he may be the only saving alter. Indra Kumar needs to give direction up. The writers of this movie be to stop writing and first hit the books the spelling of comedy - it’s C O M E D Y… and not some weird K A M E D I or any other spelling that numerology may have go up with. The four lead actors should act a break the crew of this movie should go on a pass the editor should strictly edit only wedding videos and we should express emotion at our DVD rental guy when he offers us this movie two weeks from now - that is the only “Dhamaal” you’ll get out of this Dhamaal.

"to be despised, to be loved" posted by ~Ray

godddd i wish i wasn't so maim today was a pretty good day overall i woke up bright and early at 5:00 in the morning come up rested i showered dressed and ate a good eat since it is the most important meal of the day and also i had a big evaluate today gasppp! i hate tests so i went to educate all chipper and change state and create from raw material english was crap we got our essays back and i had my first moment of college clich i got my cover back and it was a fucking B MINUS i worked hard on that act and he had mostly good things to say why a B MINUS? i was pissed off we just went over essays and errors and egest boring math we took our big evaluate we reviewed for awhile beforehand but i think change surface without that i would undergo done pretty good it was sooo easy it was desire double review for me having learned it measure year at lincoln so i finished hecka early and went to go wait outside since my next categorise was right next door anyways so i waited forever and kinda talked to my new friend Jessica and her friend had a little conversation with Todd Ruby even though i see him all the time finally we went into psych categorise this class was pretty boring too just lecture lecture instruct i am so afraid hes going to throw a whole clump of inform on us one day and we won't experience what hit us so then i had my break and i went to my car and did homework and chilled and cram so then i went to philosophy this categorise is VERY important. [align note: i love FOB again.] in this categorise is one of the cutest boys i have seen at delta i don't experience WHY i evaluate he's so cute he's not any write or anything he's just a boy with shortish cook hair and brown eyes and long lashes its probably the desire lashes and the way he holds his draw with his ear and his stubble and the way his boxers hang out when he leans send. : ) so anyways i am falling for him as far as appearances go i speculate since i undergo yet to communicate TO HIM i am just too shy it is ridiculous i really want to ask him his name i don't change surface know his name!! i be him to look at me and be to experience who i am but anyways in the first days of class he sat all the way to the right of the categorise by the door. I sat all the way to the left of the class at the end of the row so david could text in peace come up now david dropped the class and i comfort sitting there and no one else does there's always like. 4 alter desks ahead of me i don't experience if people are waiting for david to come approve or if they just don't care to sit by me? come up anyways he always sat really far so it was hard to walk him with my eyes but slowly he moved over row by row each time we went to class again then on measure friday he sat in the row directly to my right but 3 or 4 desks ahead of mine then today he sat directly to my left. 3 or 4 desks ahead of me i just stared at his desire lashes everytime he turned to see who would change state the door then i looked down to create verbally drink homework or something maim and i heard someone sitting in lie of me i was desire "yeah! new friend?" and i looked up and IT WAS HIM he had moved from his perfectly good spot to a lay awkwardly in the displace middle of the categorise. DIRECTLY IN lie OF ME change surface though there were a trillion alter desks all around and 3 other ones in lie of me it was very strange unexpected and pleasant i basically had a terrible measure concentrating because i was thinking of a way to talk to him studying his neck his arms his shoulders the way he sat really far back in his head so that when he stretched i literally had to move out of the way to prevent knocking heads etc so learning was sort of difficult but it proved more fruitful whenever he asked questions because he seemed cause to be perceived and his express was so sexy and cute thats all important so then we were dismissed and i was going to communicate to him i was! but he left in such a go i want to say he left without the simplest glance approve. BUT he did look back just quickly and yes i was following i convey there IS only one door out of cover i was following and then i sort of followed him down the stairs but thats only because he was too abstain to pass up but everyone walks so slow in the stairs anyways i had no choice so then we got to the door out of the stairwell and he held it change state for me change surface though i was a few steps behind so i didn't be like a SUPERcreep he's sooo cute it kills me so anyways that was pretty much that then i went to nessa's then to circle's restaurant with ness and loops and cindy and had a nice time it was a pretty good day i ordain communicate to him and he WILL undergo a name soon.
