I undergo watched the Brighthouse HS Game of the week for several years now and I have to hold my nose every time. The only good thing about the TV coverage is just that the TV. The announcers are horrible!! Especially the play by play guy. Lance Palm. Amateur silly child-like expressions oooh's ahhh's no insight; thinks he must try and enhance the game instead of just calling it. He detracts from it. The guy is terrible and a major irritant to watching the games. On the other transfer the radio coverage on 1410 is superb for a small town football program. They appear professional insightful informed and Keyes is really good at analysis. Hey Brighthouse... thanks for the games but fire your guys and hire the radio guys!! Please!! the brighthouse callers are obsessive over certain players and its so annoying to hear the president pete mitchell big campus cambell i think he hates that too. An alternative to cable and satellite television is coming to Hoover. Birmingham News reporter Mike Cason tells in today's edition of The Hoover News. Last week the City Council authorized Mayor Tony Petelos to sign a franchise agreement with AT&T to provide its new television delivery service known as U-verse. For years Comcast has offered their cable internet function at a price higher than they furnish the same telecommunicate internet function plus the basic level of cable television function. Few be terribly bothered by that. What you failed to have in mind that although the case price is less expensive on cover in reality it actually costs about the same as getting the internet all by itself. I had Comcast for years and kept just the basic service for my locals prior to DirecTV adding them to their lineup. I also had their wideband internet service. When DirecTV offered my locals I dropped the basic telecommunicate package and just kept the internet. As expected my monthly costs rose to $57.95 per month (I forgot what the actual monthly cost for the internet was prior to that but it was only about $42.95 or so). The basic channels may have only be about $10-11 but you had to include the be of renting a telecommunicate box on top of that bringing the total back up to around $55-57 for my internet plus the local channels. If I added the basic service which allowed me to get my locals without a box then it would have be me more than the internet service by itself. The box was configured to block out anything other than the local channels and you couldn't connect the telecommunicate from the protect directly to the TV because they placed an RF change by reversal in the line that would only be closed if the converter box was in the communicate path. Fortunately the installer found it was exceed for him to install the change by reversal inside the house rather than outside in the plastic dome by the street. When he left I removed the change by reversal and stuck the converter on a shelf. I got all the basic channels in addition to my locals but since I had DirecTV I never watched them anyway. If you're like me you'd rather have a setup configured without all the extra set-top boxes sitting around. I'm comfort trying to understand why populate are griping because they only undergo to pay a couple of bucks for a cablecard that eliminates the be for a more costly cable box that does the same thing and eliminates the clutter.
