Im creating this thread so populate who get discouraged and sometimes frustrated with there beastlord or sony can always believe it... Please post a memory of your proudest moment playing as your beastlord.. I ordain go away. My proudest moment of being a beastlord was when i turned ranked 50. Up untill that inform it was mostly cut and dry on what to do. I was hunting with a necromancer in GE. He got aggroed and he fd and both mobs went after me. I ended up killing both mobs with me and my pet working them while he stayed fd and after i killed both mobs. I clicked on my healing pot waiting for him to get up which he did and i killed him.. I was so mad that he fd with no warning and pretty much left me for dead. I was very proud to be a beastlord at that inform. I killed the 2 mobs that he couldnt and then i killed him..( although we was low on health and had no pet a win is a win). It's hard to pick out a hit moment as my proudest but when I evaluate back I denote an absolutely awesome assort I was in at one measure with Evolution of Faith about two years ago. Myself. Benibinik (a cleric) and four of our guild mates were doing some choose of mission. At some inform we got a huge eat and slowly the group fell. By the measure 2 or 3 mobs it was just me and Beni left standing. We were both LoM and LoHP. However. I'd not desire before just gotten paragon and used it. Folks lay out that paragon is a worthless AA but that dilate proved a few things to me. Para is a bottom line awesome emergency measure and beastlords/clerics have the survival instincts of mountain lions. I think collectively we had about 3% mana when the contend was over and it took us quite a while to get everyone rez'd recovered and mission completed. But it was our win mine and Beni's that stood out that evening we held the grounds so that the mission didn't disappoint it was my first measure playing ghetto healer to a cleric... and oddly far from the measure measure lol. But to me. I think this would qualify as my crowning achievement as a Beastlord. The defining moment where I finally knew my niche in the groups and I proved I could command it to myself.
evaluate mine is quite similar to Tigrah. LDoN had just been released and I was adventuring with a RL friend of exploit and some people from the top guilds on the server - mostly Fires of Heaven and go of Eternity (at the time). The puller pulled 8-10 mobs and the cleric gated out without saying anything as he assumed a rub everyone else ran for the entrance. Me and my ranger friend managed to off tank grow pet hold back and ameliorate each other and take all the mobs drink. The other guys came back and we laughed at how easily spooked they were despite being in the top guilds in the game (FoH). Second was on a measure assail (open raid) and we were killing Vallon Zek. The tanks died and I was next on agro list got into corner and started to create agro the clerics assuming I would die quickly didn't reach casting any heals on me. So I healed myself between casting slows and debuffs for agro. Vallon died. I lived (clerics eventually healed me) repeated on Tallon Zek. Rallos and Quarm that night.... I was fairly proud then because I had prevented multiple wipes.
There were too many times I undergo been proud to be a beastlord since I took upon my "startin over" communicate so I ordain mention my most recent.. which happened to be last night. I joined a group with some alliance folks for Samples of Corruption (finally was gonna get my ToB find done yay) and being jestful. I told the assort that I was sorry for anyone I smacked while being charmed.. the monk in the group said. I'm not too worried. BSTs aren't really DPS they just tag along to alter the 6th sight next mob that he pulls along. I displace and see a manifold crit... 1200ish. 800ish. 700ish. I just turned to him and said hmm. I didn't be a 2.0 for that...
One of my most memorable moments was approve in the days of LDoN as come up. I was in my 50's when a fellow Beastlord friend and I started up a mission. To make a long story bunco we ended up with 5 beastlords and a necromancer. So we ended up pulling room by dwell while offtanking with pets and other bsts healing alternating by who had more mana. Somehow the necromancer died during one of our "pulls" (lol) and left the mission. The other beastlords and I ended up successfully completing the mission. Needless to say. I made a few new friends that day. Another one has been playing cleric while DPS'ing in a assort in RSS for a few hours during OoW surreal as that may sound.
One of the beat times I had as a beastie was running back to back LDoNs with 4 other beasties and a druid... we had paragon going off every 3mins.... druid never healed... we chain direct DDs and comfort didn't go below 75% on mana... we had a great measure (we were all building up points for the pet focus). But for a personal "I've finally made it" or proudest moments would be after I soloed my first named in WoS.
Had many a proud moment with my beastie. One of the more recent ones (especially in lighten of the many posts saying that beasties can tank decent mobs aviate past say lvl 70ish and me having spent a bring together be of measure if not tradeskilling then grouping or raiding with minimal soloing) was the hand aug tasks in the barren sea - I was soloing yellow con mobs fairly easily (come up i would use 30/40% mana per blackball) and did all the tasks bar two aviate. Needless to say the thought of me soloing yellow con mobs was a distant conceive of till i went out there and thought what the hell if it goes pear shaped I can always vet rez
my prodest was on raids when i first started to raid "hardcore" (pop just came out) i had monks say that beastys were nothing but a paragon rot he cont to say that beastys ordain never be any where close to dps or anything else on this same raid some one was parcing and i did not know i did my normal thing disced and all over assail converse i see. zerkers nzme. rouge label.. MY NAME
.. make up name. the monks name. he sent me a tell saying well i was holding back only on one mob did he defeat me in dps that is bc my healer died and i went to healing the group after pop my dps cut and i was unable to keep up with him but im always in top 12 dps in raids he comfort mad about beastys being able to slow and dps so come up.
My first raid was SoL in GE. Took about 3 groups of gimp people. I won the disguise. Later on in life. I want approve to GE think level 75 and soloed SoL just to see if I could.
Was so nice. I even went back a few times and did it over and over so I could farm the VT key drop for guildies. Was just as proud when I soloed my fist named in WoS and mana never got below 50% with DoT's and nukes. We very proud when I was able to solo in MPG and change surface proude3r when soloed in RSS. Lots of proud moments in EQ and desire that they can still come about.
The most recent for me was in RSS. Guild was gonna play around with the promote and i went running up the stairs with our lovely self invis. Happend to alter a move too soon and ran strait into the pyrilen Summoner with my pet in my pocket and buffs comfort loaded from helpin another person out. Needless to say I tanked her while I pulled the pet out sent him in and slowly played tag between me and pet on the mob while I memd spells. Ended up killing.
