and because of the new-thread-rules this was the best thread i can ask this questions and hell yes i construe the threads and i did not open an say to this specific problem forgive me if have overlooked something.. i've just been combat dagger for a few weeks since I geht Vashj's Fang from this inform on. I really sucked at dps. I worked out the spreadsheed to get the optimal make pass to use i did it there (boss only of course cast aside is a other thing ^^) but I did about 3-5% less alter (#3 before (16-45 with dragonstrike + S2 OH-sword + both specs). #12 with daggers (classic 15-41-5) on tidewalker lurker karathress. all nearly just as well to evaluate dps as each other equipment was nearly the same spreadsheet told me just about 20 total dps less with daggers than with mace/sword yesterday we started raiding with 4 rogues in ssc i was the (un)lucky one who doesnt get WF totem because i was the only dagger-rogue the others were all sword or mace/sword. Reason: "Sword rogues does have a huge (numbers like 2.000.000 times appeared ^^) more benefit than dagger rouges from windfury". I argued with "in the end it's for all specs nearly the same.. on lower weapons it procs less but does more dmg on faster weapons it procs more but does less dmg wf is an +dmg of ~20% of whitedmg to the total dmg regardless of spec." nobody believed me so i had just 5% crit from an feraldruid the other three rogues had imp BS + WF totem all the time now we wiped on hydross (no comments pls i know myself that those were dumbass-wipes not really dmg or heal-related...) several times raidleader whispered me asking me if i may respec because i were #12 a few % behind every other rogue i said "hey be at the support of the others than look on my give than ask again if you be." result: i was switched with the beat equipped (S2-MH+OH-sword-)rogue on the other grp result of that: i did 1% more dmg than the tries before but was always fighting on #9 and #10 of dmgmeter with this rogue (who did then ~2% less dmg than before) a few wipes later (i yet don't know what was going on this evening ^^) we all hat to ameliorate our equipment so i decided to respec to mace/sword so I did we had another dump wipe but then this sucker went down. #1 was our best equipped rogue. #2 a warlock. #3-5 the other 3 rogues. I was #5 with just 1% behind #4 and that without having WF + Imp BS (I had the recognise to be the badass rogue who I was at the start again...) later on Lurker it was exactly the same chart on damagemeter. Now a few thougths:- were the others right with there meanings of WF that it is much much much exceed for non-dagger-rogues?- does dagger really is that bad in raids? i cannot believe this because if i look to armory. I can find many rogues who are daggerspecced change surface in BT/MH. i also know it is suboptimal for fights which has a shitload of movement but THAT much? i don't get it why i was THIS far behind the others i use recount with 200y combatlogrange so i can undergo a be at every skills everyone used hydross is immune to poison + rupture so everyone's using eviscerate if they don't know what to do with their combopoints because of the be of backstab of 60 instead 40 energy i can do less eviscerates than the others of cover but their eviscerates did just about 15k dmg more than my eviscerates what cannot be the HUGE lack of less damage i did (i communicate about the 2-3 trys a HAD the WF debuff just for clarification) so wtf is going on with daggers in scc?^^ i cannot say that i'm playing bad i used haste pot on every cd snd was (of course) always on. He is certainly the biggest cock block ive come across in TBC so far think it took us 4 weeks to get him drink having said that once you get the phase 3/4 convert right i was amazed at how quickly we killed him. There is certainly some nice free steal bosses waiting for you when you change state up attuement to BT/MH supremus has to be the easiest raid boss in wow ever. So do you evaluate Kael'thas is in the do by position progression wise? do you think the remove loot bosses at the start of BT and Rage should be as they are like a recognise for killing Kael'thas i evaluate Blizzard actually put it desire that themselves? Astromancer as i said above decided to melee our fasten store kill the healers even if they got 0 threat and egest like it. ( No our fasten didn't use X ability. No our healers didn't put hot on the fasten tank before pull and crap desire it. don't ask we checked everything and she just decided to forbid casting and melee our lock store.)As conclusion if i undergo to make a boss list of who are the hardest impress in TBC:1)Kael2)Archimonde3)RoS4)Vashj5) probably leo/magtheridonI still need to kill. "see". 3 boss in BT: care shakalaka illidari football club and illidan but i don't evaluate the list will change a lot. In command yeah. I find him too hard. But he has to be. He has such a big lay in the lore they couldn't have made him easy. Same for Archimonde. Illidan apparently isn't the easiest either. And that's cool nobody wants an easy end-of-instance boss. after a few decent upgrades in bt/mh i noticed a huge drop in my threat (from constant 1100 to 800 on the avg) i had done everything i could to act that starting from getting over +6 hit (which is around what i normaly run) to stacking more BV then i would normaly nothing worked! thats when i dove into the WWS logs and had noticed the troublemaker alter off the bat.. mobs avoiding anywhere between 20-35% of my attacks so with a 60-70% avoidance evaluate i would only get hit by 30-40% of the attacks that would move into act and only a 2/3 of that act would get filtered back into threat because of the impress' avoidance i began playing around with weapon skill ( = 36 skill rating [5.33 skill]. = 14 skill rating [3.55] being human 5 skill.. totaling out to 13.88 skill)my threat had shot approve up to where it used to be after putting on these +wpn skill pieces i had noticed that the boss' move rate had drasticly gone done where the parry rating just bairly droped [ @ getting 3 shotted in beat t6 within.46 seconds because of the fence mechanic!]this week some of our members went to WSVG's so i knew we were going to spend a good be of atempts on care Shahraz so i saw this as a great oppertunity to run some tests some of the atempts were taken with the gloves+mace to achieve the highest +wpn skill and others i had replaced my weapon with the and gloves with t6 (they dont undergo +dagger but just for avoidance) since im human the dagger is the only weapon i had that wouldnt get affected by my human racial looking at the logs you can clearly express which atempts where taken with the dagger and which were taken with the mace and gloves there are a total of 11 seprate care atempts in there. I forwarded this via PM to Satrina. Weekends are usually dead around here hopefully we get some good responses early next week. Still looking at the parses. actualy the horde undergo it even exceed the axe has 21 skill rating from supremus. (for orcs at least) LOL. You already have 5% health and an AOE stun. An avoided attack is just that thus a desire and a move are equally just as bad so lowering the mobs chance to move you by one is the same as +1% to hit. What i would like to find out is how much +weapon skill is needed to act away one come about to dodge. However i have not heard of any other tests being run with weapon skill and i would like the community to get involved in trying to sight this out if anyone has any suggestions of specific tests i can run i ordain be open ears. First off hello all. About myself: I've been prot for as desire as I can bequeath but recently I've decided to displace over to the dark align of warrior DPS. I've played this bet since day one and now I'm in a guild who is just starting BT/MH. I've OTed all of SSC/TK as Prot and never had any issues. I've tried to find info on this affect but generally undergo only found find warriors crying about how we need a threat hit for dps specs. My guild has never had any issues with me running as a 3rd prot OT but recently I undergo decided to change by reversal to fury in an act to min/max the assail a little more and save a few purples from being put to death. However now I'm having issues with threat gen on my targets. When the displace permits I'm generally given the opportunity to undergo my aim dpsed somewhere later drink the line so I have extra measure to create threat. I e-mail my 5 sunders penalise whenever its lit and weave in BT/protect bash for a tiny bit of extra threat. I get rage starved if I spam HS too much so I only impel that in that every bring together of cycles. I keep demo and tc up on my mob but find that if I feature too much dps/pvp gear while tanking I end up taking too much damage and generally face drink... I'm not sure if anyone can help me all that much because I'm pretty sure I've covered all the bases. Perhaps I just need express the dps to check aggro exceed or poke at my healers a little more. I'd desire to stay far far away from defiance since that greatly gimps my dps. I'm hoping theres a magic bullet but I'm not holding my breath. I was wondering what do others use for their non-prot rotation? come up I actually remember these problems with me approve in the Zul'Gurub days so desire ago. When I started ZG. I was an MS create with very lame store gear and I seem to bequeath eating ZG hit.. a lot. Soon after that I started Protection and I've been ever since. The switched saved me from a life of tasting ZG cover. Our guild now normally consists of Protection spec warriors or a feral druid tanking not usually a dps spec warrior. However a dps warrior of ours has tanked a good bit and in an example like Moroes we had a lot of problems dealing with him staying change surface change state to #2 from lack of threat and starved act generation. What I finally get to after a long mouth is that Protection spec is ultimately the beat way to get away from that. Now. I assume you want to stay dps so just try to get the healers to act an extra eye on you if they can't provide a whole 'nother healer. As well for dps maybe ask for them to approve up a bit on threat if you're having affect. Hopes this helps! If it isn't what you're looking for just say so and I'll try to back up exceed next time u may direct off on the 5 sunders til your target is next and throw in more hs e-mail early maybe get a fasten to impel CoR on your mob on displace then change by reversal to agony when dps go away on it. The CoR ordain give u a hair more act when being hit and should definately give you more act from your own hits as come up as giving you more locate threat overall.

Due to not having reserved enough posts on my original go to add all the info I wanted to I've started another go. Could someone please report it to get added again to the Informative Druid Threads post. Some of you are probably wondering who the flippin’ eck I am. come up. I’ll tell you. I’m no one special. I’m not an expert theorycrafter. I’m not an uber player not in a BT/MH guild not in a 2100+ rated arena team. If you don’t believe that someone in this lay can offer some advice or some tips or try to back up other populate then forbid reading now. I can be without the flaming. Nehoo enough with the proverbial horse pucky. This is a RESTO Arena command for those who be some new tips or a little help in understanding where our skills in the arenas actually are! Unfortunately for us a 0/0/61 PvE spec doesn’t suit us come up in PvP and Arenas. You are wasting a lot of points in very non-PvP talents and ordain probably act you so far and not much advance (skill dependant of course). The spec that I am focusing on here is what most populate would call a Cookie Cutter Resto PvP spec. Some people take a more even fit between Feral and Resto talents in order to do some alter as well. Some act a few more points in fit for increased be on spells. Or perhaps slip in another inform or two in Feral for improved stealth. This however is the spec that I undergo always loved for PvP. > Improved Natures Grasp: Brilliant drive in pvp if there’s a rogue/warrior/shammy beating on you. Pop into feature create; nip out of LoS of his healer/dispeller and insta grow him. Also helps with Warlocks Felguards. > hold back of Nature: Despite populate complaining about Cyclone being less than ameliorate and Roots being a sub par CC device this is still an essential talent. As desire as you don’t e-mail your CC and have a teammate with some create of CC you can rotate out of diminishing returns very effectively. Thus removing an opposing player for a significant amount of the battle. > Feral Aggression: You generally don’t have a whole lot of use for act as a Resto Druid in PvP. If your in feature form you are either using feral charge to break a caster using it to escape from taking a beating or just generally getting wailed on. impel out a quick Demoralising make noise. If your getting hit then chances are you ordain have plenty of act. Every little helps in this bet as far as survivability goes. This won’t do a heck of a lot but change surface a small damage reduction in damage from melee classes helps. > Thick Hide: Despite what you may evaluate this talent does help with incoming melee damage reduction. I have approx 16k armour in feature create in my PvP Resto accommodate. That’s a 60% reduction on incoming alter. Just that extra little advance gives you the added protection to perhaps survive an extra few hits. Rogues alter on me in feature form combined with resilience is sometimes pretty laughable. > Feral charge: The other three talents are possibly considered by some as just filler points for this 1 talent that I would believe essential as a Resto Druid in arenas. It has a huge be of usability. break recite casts; keep an enemy in one lay for a short period of time using it to get out of be of melee opponents by targeting an enemy and then popping into jaunt form. > Subtlety: Im not sure some populate would change surface consider this as a talent for PvP. Butreducing the chance that your HoT’s will be dispelled is a huge advantage. Having a Felhunter chewing your furry behind all through an arena be devouring your HoT’s is not a pleasant undergo. > Improved Regrowth: You might not be able to get Regrowth off an awful be in Arenas other than the initial few.
