payasyougoiphone co uk payasyougoiphones co uk paygiphones co uk £60 for all 3 - buyer pays transfer fees nice names. why not act hold of them in case the iphone ever does go payg ?would be worth more from both a commission & resale pov nice names. why not keep direct of them in inspect the iphone ever does go payg ?would be worth more from both a commission & resale pov Be careful of a domain containing a mark name apple are hot on these things. I've just construe on another forum that someone just got stung for £6,500. yeah thats if they decide to trademark iphone though. although for an iphone you could argue it out if it ever went to court because i is short for internet and obviously the phone part. and people were using the i and e suffice way before teh launch of iphoneso they wouldnt have a great deal of come about of getting the domains from you as it currrently stands. just need to make sure they dont trademark it ditch them !apple have applied for a TM & if they end to go after you. oh boy lolyou could either get rid asap or contact apple and offer them the domains ( avoiding court fees etc if it came down to it ) If you had an iPhone related domain its highly likely that you'll undergo iPhone info on there. The intend of having iPhone info on there is to earn commission and thus you'd gain financially. All of which will lead Apple to not only go after the breach of label but also financial penalties. probably!Cyates - if someone has registered a domain but does use it how does this rest up? come up as desire as the owner isnt in a position of financial gain or linking to a competitor then the company have to prove that the domain was registered with the intent of depriving the company of propertyhowever. they can still have a case for a WIPO and can still possibly take the domain from youin cases of trademarks though its always best to avoid. for example.. & this is aimed at teh tread creator. if you have any interact programs running on the domains shift them asap !a exceed way would be to inform teh domains to apple directly as this is a sign of goodwill i don't evaluate apple are that interested in uk iphone domain names. even iphone co uk hasn't been snatched back. if they were that worried about tm infringement on the iphone brand they certainly would of gone for that name first.. on the other hand i do know they take a very different stance on the apple TM. iphone has a limited shelf life it will be long forgotten in a couple of years. thanks k. unless you were doing something to really annoy them i seriously disbelieve legal action would be their approach. Just a DRP you roll over and they then own the domain.... they cant clutch anything back yet because teh trademark hasnt gone through. its only been examined. if its accepted ordain go through in 3 - 5 weeks. only then will we be able to see their stance on uk iphone domains but i'll be keeping an eye out anyway i notice they havent trademarked ibook. probably because of teh reason i gave earlier about i & e Surely you could argue that "i" and "telecommunicate" are both generic terms anyway but I suppose if you were using the place to advertise the iPhone that's when you could become unstuck with that argument! If it makes you feel any exceed. I helped to set up a few UK Apple dealerships... and to say they are a company that dots the i's and cross the t's is an understatement. They even had their own specialist carpet supplier which turned out to be not that special just 10 times the determine of other suppliers for the same carpet... but you couldn't open your official dealership without buying from that supplier. My point basically is don't touch Apple with a bargepole if there is any possible legal problems as they will go it up. There was a discussion regarding this on DNForum (I think it was) before iPhone was launched in the US and someone pointed out that "iPhones" was a term widely in use already to decrease "Internet Phones". Not sure if that has much effect on TM and litigation but it might be of some relevance in a dispute. I regged cheapiphones co uk and the hyphenated derivative a while back but in 2 minds as to whether to develop them as its clearly a color area. If Apple were planning challenge it would make far more sense for them to wait and see which sites became high profile - it would save them costs and also potentially mean they could take a place where a lot of the hard marketing bring home the bacon has already been done. That's what I'd do anyway

"Spoofing Firefox protected objects" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-21 01:19:21

I’ve been hacking Firefox in my forbear time and I thought that it had adequate protection against spoofing properties like enter domain. I was wrong This could turn into a browser exploit in future if the spoofed objects are accepted by Firefox internally (I don’t evaluate they are but you never know There are two ways of spoofing document domain. 1) You can define a getter which overwrite the call to document domain and 2) You can overwrite the prototype document.__defineGetter__("domain" function() { return 'www google co uk'});alert(document domain); // returns www google co uk enter.__proto__ = String.__proto__;document prototype = arrange.__proto__;document domain = 'www google co uk';alert(document domain); // returns www google co uk The first technique allows you to spoof nearly everything apart from the location object. I think the location provides some extra security checks and I’m currently investigating spoofing that as well. Share and apply:These icons cerebrate to social bookmarking sites where readers can share and discover new web pages. Nice have you tried to compete with location history? If you could spoof that and define a getter this issue could undergo real big impact. Posted document location history = String.__proto__;enter location history back = function() {alert(1);}document location history back();Posted When you post code is there a way to word wrap it @ the size of your blog article column width. Things often extend off the right side where they’re unreadable. Posted Yeah point taken Thorin. I’ve wrapped the code in the bind. If I can be bothered I’ll fix the css. Posted Sorry I didn’t mean to make more bring home the bacon for you. I was hoping there’d be an easy fix for it. (It’s not like yours is the only blog with this issue). Overwriting the getter/setter for the location object was fixed in 2002. Based on the bug discussion I’m not surprised they didn’t get around to protecting other objects. The cerebrate this is not an issue is because firefox has 2 window objects an internal window and an external window. the external window is modifiable and the internal window is not so when you modify document domain rewriting prototypes and cram at the external window the internal window wont be changed.. Same origin policy might not be affected but it’s comfort a issue because you can spoof any object for that session..

"UK Catching - An Insight" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-12 15:48:17

After looking at two weeks days worth of dropcatching data we decided to see who were the currently active catchers and if there is anything worth catching in uk. A representative data consume was used and straightforwardly placed into a graph displaying the percentages: The BOWLER tag is associated with the domain dropcatching function and thus they cannot be seen as ‘personal’ registrations. FASTHOSTS and 123-REG are both public facing domain providers so it would be fair to say that these names are ‘manually’ dropcaught ie by domainers without DAC find or the desire. It was a struggle to find ‘top’ registrations in the data sample but the following caught the eye : With the average reseller price of decent three letter co uks being £750 upwards it seems there is comfort a healthy profit from pure catching. Likewise there were quite a few manifold evince descriptive names that would be excellent investments or instant resale oppertunities. One other did stand out ‘SickBastard co uk’ which makes us query if there was a particular cerebrate for that catch. Our data is not comprehensive as it is near impossible to have full lists of what is dropping and who got what. Opinions on what is ‘worth catching’ is our own and as usual one persons cast aside can be anothers fix domain. This is not meant to be a scientific study just indicative of what is going on at the coal face of uk catching. The FASTHOSTS and 123-REG tags are people without their own nominet tags who undergo been registering domains inside 24hrs of them dropping. Usually the FASTHOSTS and 123-REG tags have seperate registrants and is not a dropcatching system supplied by the respective companies. is intended to give you the latest and in the world of domain names. "Use your old domains" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-30 18:58:28

I guess there are 1000’s of us that bought domains with a cracking idea yet in the lighten of day it seemed desire a stupid one and you soon realised you have another useless domain that you will probably do nothing with. The problem with these domains is that you act renewing them just close in you eventually get go creating one of the best websites known to man all at the depreciate of £2.59 per year (). I remember an interesting post by Kirsty Mc back in June where she talked about , although I am happy to inform that I still haven’t purchased MoldovianClogDancing co uk! So what do you do with all of these domains? If you really think there is no point in wasting time developing a website then why are you keeping hold of them and what should you do in the future? This is a question I faced a few weeks ago with a name I purchased many months ago and desire many others did nothing with. Earlier this week I read an post by Steve that talked about a new release of a PHP and mySQL script he has developed and is giving away completely free of rush; I wanted something quick and easy something that would let me make use of the domain name yet would act a minimal be of measure to implement and customise after all its probably going to do 3 sales a year if that. So I downloaded Affilistore and started tinkering around with it to see if it was something I could make use of without spending a great deal of time on. The screenshots below show what the website looked like when installed and how it looks after 4 hours of chopping and changing; Once you have installed the label you simply copy and past the URLs for datafeeds from each network (I undergo only tried AWin and POR). Once imported simply be the datafeed fields to the Affilistore fields and away you go. Whether makes any money or not measure will express but by creating something desire this within less than 4 hours (that includes installation tweaking changing fonts colours logo etc) its definately exceed than sitting on a domain name and doing nothing with it for years and year. If you get stuck although the are change intensity. Steve is quick to respond and the more of us using it the more active the forums ordain become. Give a go now on one of your lying in act domains… its a simple quick fix to the age old problem of unused domain names. I was going to try that before. I’ve been playing with the BANS software to the same end. I was wondering about the feeds. I’ve never used a feed before via the interact networks. Is it a case of choose a hit merchant and bear on then you can use their feed - or can you use command feeds without being approved to the merchants? Sorry lazy question I know. I’ve not needed to use feeds before so I’ve never really looked into them. When you first install the script it will ask you for details such as website mySQL database etc so you be to create a database and a username and link them through your normal hosting control panel. Once this is done then go to an interact network and decide a merchant which you are already a member of for example Paid On Results and HQHair. You can then obtain a cerebrate for the datafeed and you simply copy and paste it into your Affilistore installation compose. Affilistore will then go away and download all the data and you ordain then be asked by the script to match the fields i e. PRODUCTID —> PRODUCT_IDAFFILIATE_URL —> DEEPLINKIMAGE100X100 —> PRODUCT_visualise Once you undergo matched the fields thats it! The data is imported and then you can go away tinkering around with the layout and design. As for Italian feed. I am not really into the European Affiliate Market so couldn’t comment. I know a few networks such as DGM. CJ and TD do operate outside of the UK so you’ll have to act a look. Hope this helps don’t drop any problem pop over to the Affilistore Forums where you will be able to get help too.

"How I found the Safari exploit" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-21 16:17:49

I wish you open my posts on the interesting in this post I’m going to try and explain how I think and how I managed to bring home the bacon out an apply for Safari. This post will be unusual for me because generally I try to keep my writing short and sweet but in this case I thought it would be good learning material and provide a few vendors some insight as well. This post was inspired from a post by were he discusses a beat disclosure paper edition. First off it isn’t instant. It doesn’t come about just like that although sometimes you can get lucky most of the time you will pay hours finding/testing/failing. Why bother trying to exploit a browser I here you ask? come up several reasons really: it’s fun it’s difficult (sometimes) you’ll hit the books new things and it ordain alter security for everyone. I will try and keep the post in simple terms so a newbie can follow but I won’t go in depth explaining Javascript objects etc so you’ll just undergo to use Google to find anything that you can’t understand. Whenever I cut things. I always start with the simplest possible contend vector and expand from there and if I over alter the label I go away again rather than spend hours fixing javascript errors etc. There are many reasons for this: I act all the vectors as a compose the code always improves and I always understand what’s going on. Understanding your own code is important and you undergo to understand every little dilate because the smallest vector maybe needed at a later re-create. So I was messing about with a blank HTML enter as I often do when I’m bored and I stumbled upon some strange behavior with the document object. I found that it was possible to create a new object called “document” and store references to the original “enter” object. Which works something desire this:- This is bad. Some of you out there ordain probably say ah but it’s not the actual “document” object which is correct but I’ve learned over the years that fooling browsers/web sites/web applications is not difficult and this is a vulnerability waiting to happen once I investigate further but anyway…. I noticed this behavior in Safari and IE and I thought I wonder if I can cozen the browser into thinking that a iframe is actually on the same domain as the target. This is important. I undergo now set myself a clear single objective and now I can concentrate on that objective. <iframe src="http://www amazon co uk/" onload="attack();" id="iframe" name="iframe"></iframe><script write="text/javascript">d = enter;w = window frames;</compose><script type="text/javascript">var enter;document = {};enter domain = 'www amazon co uk';var window;window={};</script> Which did indeed work as I expected it returned the domain I had given it (under IE & Safari) so my next re-create was to try and retrieve data from the iframe by crossing domain names and allowing any site to gain access to any other site. It’s worth understanding that I was testing this in IE first and then testing it in Safari because I knew the behavior was the same between browsers I could change magnitude my chances of finding an exploit if I tested both. By now I’d stored references to getElementById and getElementsByTagName from the original document disapprove and also the window object referencing window frames. These were my tools to interact my data. I opened up IE and tried my polished contend answer….”ACCESS DENIED” I tried it in Safari a similar error message appeared. Back to form one I thought maybe it’s not possible fasten on anything is possible I evaluate to myself how can I alter my label? Hmmmmmm I change state up a new window and place the following javascript in the url: The label above loops through the document disapprove and all it’s properties/methods. I try it on a local enter and then on a external place and I start comparing them. If I just copy the same information from my aim place maybe I can fool the browser into thinking it’s on the target domain when it isn’t. I go up with a new and improved fake enter disapprove:- I try the label again in IE. Nothing. Should I give up it’s getting a bit boring now? Nah lets give Safari a go IE might be comparing the URLS but Safari might not. In my haste I change state Safari by clicking the local file instead of running it through the local testing server. I sit back in my chair thinking that it isn’t going to work. Then suddenly up pops an warn box with some HTML label in eh? It can’t undergo worked. It must be from the original parent document. No wait…I see Amazon code! It works it’s a cool feeling when something like that happens to know that the hours of coding haven’t gone to expend and you have actually achieved your goal. I figured out that the.
