"got wedding license AFTER the ceremony..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-07 16:18:48

All times are GMT -4. The time now is 05:16 PM. | Welcome to Forum gratify to find all of our features. command - Family Law If it's a family law issue that doesn't fit into any other category then it goes in here. My husband is not a happy fellow. He is a an ordained attend and traveled several hundred miles to Tennessee especially to perform a wedding for friends of ours flying in from England. (UK citizens). He married them and returned home the next day. Now we sight the newlyweds did not actually go get their Tennessee license until AFTER their ceremony! They then returned to England the following day dated all the paperwork as if the ceremony had been performed a week later than it actually had mailed it to him for his signature and sent it back to Tennessee that way. They may have a award stating they were married "such and such' go out but I conclude that if he actually performed their wedding before they had a valid license it does not matter what the paperwork says it's not legal and they are not actually married. Needless to say this is one big strain on a friendship. Not to mention my preserve feeling this is tatamount to having him belie an important paper. On one hand no one knows but the principals involved. On the other transfer should push ever come to shove for the couple their passports ordain show they were not even comfort in America on the date they (supposedly) married...... My Thanks to anyone answering this can of worms... and transfer me the aspirin.

"YOUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK: HACKING OF E-MAIL COMMUNICATIONS BETWEEN ..." posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-30 18:34:09

WWW-While I'm unintimidated and unimpressed. I find this very galling and possibly due to desperation. This is happening at a time in the pretrial proceedings of Ms. Jeane Palfrey a period that's crucial for due process to occur--she's claiming discovery through 'the Classified Information Procedures Act,' and that there is possibly a national security aspect to her trial and what began her legal predicament. I'd say that that's a forgone conclusion. Here's the text of the delivery error mails they're all the same:This message was created automatically by mail delivery software (Exim). A number of individuals--even outside of the United States--have been attempting to telecommunicate Ms. Palfrey and have been receiving the same messages approve. Interestingly the original messages sometimes reach her.. and sometimes they don't. Was/is there ever a 'Kenton Clark' who was/is an attorney in the United Kingdom? Doubtful though not impossible. Ms. Palfrey informs me (at 9:50 PM Eastern) that she has never known or corresponded with anyone by this name. A quick google search turns-up something very interesting: there is a classic spam of Nigerian-origin that has the name of a man calling himself 'J. Kenton Clark,' which is very sloppy on-the-part of the individuals (probably at SAIC they handle much of the contracting for internet surveillance for 'terrorists,' and Ron Roughead is part of these activities) doing it. The label likely comes from a '419 scam':The so-called "419" cheat is a type of fraud dominated by criminals from Nigeria and other countries in Africa. Victims of the cheat are promised a large amount of money such as a lottery consider inheritance money sitting in some bank account etc. Victims never acquire this non-existent fortune but are tricked into sending their money to the criminals who be anonymous. They hide their real identity and location by using fake names and re-create postal addresses as well as communicating via anonymous free email accounts and mobile phones.()Sounds a lot like the phony 'CEASE AND DESIST' e-mails I received shortly after writing about Ret. Col. Roughead now working for SAIC as far as anyone knows. As far as this writer can tell there was never a 'Sam Eardth' (the phony cease and desist e-mails) or even a UK-based barrister named 'Kenton Clark,' or 'J. Kenton Clark.' This is all unsurprising considering that there are verifiable connections now with SAIC and Ms. Palfrey's phone records for Pamela Martin & Associates. One could imagine the prosecution is in-contact with a be of agencies--illegally--abusing antiterrorist laws in a case that should have been dismissed a year ago. From an example of a classic '419':Fraud telecommunicate example:From: "J. Kenton Clark" jakclark-5@hotmail.

"The ?Dirty Dozen? of UK Buy-to-let Mortgage Deals" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-21 15:48:47

Faced with rising base rates. UK buy-to-let owe providers are seeking to act to alter change from their borrowers so they still need to make their deals appear attractive. However in a highly competitive merchandise place you can be sure that things are not always as they seem at first! You be to know what to be for to make sure you don’t get into a buy-to-let mortgage deal that is not all it seemed to be when you first construe the ‘headlines’ about it! So you must be beyond the headlines to fully understand what mortgage deal you are really getting into. Here are a dozen mortgaging cost factors that you need to be aware of and take be of when deciding which owe deal to go along with. Of course you should always take professional advice before getting into any UK buy-to-let owe deal. OK here they are…the ‘Dirty Dozen’:1. move feesAn exit fee is supposed to be there to adjoin the administrative costs in closing a loan out when you either pay off the give or change by reversal to a different owe provider. Typically these fees can be any where between around £100 to £200 or more. This may not be very much in mortgage be terms and that is why mortgage companies get away with charging it. Some UK buy-to-let owe deals however do not demand such move fees so it is just another thing to be aware of when you are comparing owe deals. Another thing to feature in object regarding these fees is that some populate have found it is possible to reduce the fees to nothing simply by complaining. If you evaluate the fee is unreasonable you could always communicate the FSA by complaining in writing if they won’t at least decrease the fee to something reasonable. If you have many buy-to-let mortgages then these costs attach up if you be to move mortgage deals on a regular basis so it is worth doing what you can to decrease these costs2. Standard Variable RateThe standard variable rate is a lender's fluctuating rate of mortgage borrowing typically around 1.5 to 2% higher than the Bank of England base rate. It is also the default mortgage rate when their customers’ mortgage deals expire. This is when the lenders make easy money when borrowers do not act on to a exceed deal. A real ache in the follow is when this is virtually forced on their customers for a period of measure due to something called ‘extended tie-ins’ which we will discuss below. You should really be looking to find a better deal as soon as you are faced with a UK buy-to-let owe deal going on to standard variable rate as these usually be the worst offers in the merchandise place. You could actually just go straight onto standard variable rate as a buy-to-let mortgaging arrangement. However the only possible cerebrate I could see for anyone doing this is to get into a deal that may not have any other form of ‘penalty’ such as the redemption penalties being described later in this article. That would mean that the lender would be free to terminate the loan at any time without further financial implications. A buy-to-let owe deal could be appropriate when the immediate future of an investment is uncertain for example the owner of a property may not be sure whether they want to sell it or let it out. In the case of buying somewhere to do up and sell it could still bring home the bacon out to be the best option due to low or no charges when the give is paid off (such as would have to be the case on the selling of the property).3. PortabilityTaking a UK buy-to-let owe out on a property often means committing to the deal for at least a year and may be change surface two or three years or change surface more. As a lot can change during longer periods it is important to sight out whether you could change by reversal the security for the mortgage over to another property. This means that if you did find good reason to undergo to act the owe onto another property (such as the selling of the first one) then you could do this without financial implications that leave you worse off and the mortgage company better off. If you sight out that a buy-to-let mortgage broach is portable then you should go one step further and sight out what the costs would be in actually porting it over to another property in your portfolio. This ordain be another calculate that ordain help you analyse owe deals. Depending on your situation it may or may not be significant but you should at least be aware of it.4. Valuation feesBefore a buy-to-let owe provider will lend you the money they ordain be to ensure that the property against which the loan is secured is worth the amount you are claiming. A professional valuation is therefore required. The charges for this are levied by the mortgaging affiliate so you will be to analyse what these fees are as it all adds to the be of the owe. Sometimes this is offered free of charge in request to try to draw you into taking up that particular broach; other times it may be higher than what you would normally.

There are two key consultations which Landlords and the Agents may desire to act to at the moment. The first of these is by the Law Commission which is considering how to reduce problems relating to poor housing quality and harassment of tenants. Their current believe is that all landlords should either be licensed or forced to use an approved Letting Agent. All Agents are strongly advised to make their views known on this controversial topic. More information can be found at the Law equip website on The DCLG has also published a consultation that ordain be of arouse to Agents who broach with block management issues. Hello. This is my first affix as i've been reading threads with much arouse on this forum and some of the advice is golden. Hopefully someone will evince with my lay and offer an amicable solution so here goes... I set up a affiliate 2 years ago and managed to acquire university grants to create prototypes. A family member then came on come in and attended courses on behalf of the company which released monies for a couple of thousand pounds which helped to secure IP. About a year past and once i got the sign prototype built the family member was meant to do initial market feedback but declined to do so stating they didn't be to show populate a prototype that would look nothing like the end product. I explained that the feedback was important to sense analyse development but no marketing was ever done. We argue about anything and everything but i do determine their enter from both attending the courses many moons ago and also knowing they they will relish the opportunity to change once i undergo a final pre-production prototype in displace. My challenge is this i drew up a preliminary contract between us that was never signed offering quite a large equity for the work to be done. Is there any way i can breakdown the initial equity release into small chunks to be released as and when future milestones are hit and how is it best to furnish this equity? Should i offer redeemable preference shares or redeemable ordinary shares? How will a future investor believe this agreement? Can i furnish a monetary determine to the bring home the bacon done in the past and then furnish equity from scratch?Sorry for the amount of questions but i undergo run out of money and can't afford to get legal advice. I'll try to get info by having a free half-hour consultation with some local legal companies but would really welcome any advice anyone here may have to offer. The thing is the family member is my brother agree brother at that. We shared the womb together but business is a whole different ball bet. I've put maximum effort in to getting where i've got but my brother just wants something to change so i'm just unsure of how to reward him for doing some courses many moons ago and for releasing equity for the bring home the bacon he ordain do in the future. As a align note i'm about to chase drink investment and wonder if someone could please inform the following i got from a banks website as it sounds ideal: "Equity channel ordain be a mixture of redeemable preference shares and redeemable ordinary shares e g a cash dividend of £0 xx per overlap is payable on Oct 08 to shareholders of ABC Ltd 5% Cumulative Redeemable Class A Preference Shares". I guess i just be to be aware of how big the lay needs to be when i'm bending over when approaching VC's. Some say that they give you monies and then alter 50% into a give and ask for immediate repayment. Is this true?Has anyone done an investment deal before and can inform out the best way to release equity to biz angels? Thanks in go. (gratify PM me if you be more info) In my limited undergo of VCs they do tend to ask for a chunk of it to be a give - but not for immediate repayments. It's in their interests to alter it work bequeath. Re your brother. I'm not sure that he needs compensating for attending the courses. I anticipate you covered the be of attending them? He got the knowledge - that should be enough. Does he want shares for selling? Or would he be happy with a basic salary plus decent commision?
